Permanent Full time

Band 3 - $66,893 - $70,539 yearly, plus 11% statutory superannuation

Do you have experience in the design and maintenance of Irrigation systems? Based in our Sale Depot, we are looking for a motivated individual with Horticultural qualifications and experience in irrigation systems to join our crew.

To succeed in this role, you will have the ability to work by yourself, as well as part of a team.  The changing work demands will require you to use your problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt. The result will be real job satisfactions and you apply your horticultural expertise to maintain the Council’s public open spaces to a high level.

We are looking for someone with:

  • Tertiary qualification in Horticulture (Certificate III or above) or relevant qualification.
  • Relevant Irrigation System design and maintenance experience.
  • A demonstrated knowledge and understanding of OH&S policies and procedures.
  • The ability to direct and assist others in maintenance work.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
