Permanent Part-time (based on 0.8EFT)
Band 4 – $50,203 - $53,036 per annum plus 9.5% statutory superannuation
An opportunity exists for an experienced administration professional to provide timely and efficient administrative support to the Land Use Planning business unit at Wellington Shire Council. The position will form part of the dynamic, high functioning team that provides effective support to internal and external stakeholders whilst delivering excellent customer service to members of the public.
The nature of the role will be assisting with a broad range of administrative tasks including day to day filing, business unit reporting, attending to customer service enquires in relation to Land Use Planning and the coordination and proficient use of database systems and records management.
To be successful in this role, you will be proactive and demonstrate excellent organisational skills with the ability to meet strict deadlines and effectively see tasks through to completion. In addition, you will have strong attention to detail and possess a willingness to work collaboratively as a valued member of the Land Use Planning team.
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate how they meet the criteria below:
- Excellent communication skills and ability to show a high level of customer service.
- Proven ability to work in a team and collaborative environment.
- Exceptional time management skills with the ability to prioritise own work.
- High level knowledge and competency skills in Microsoft Office.
- Demonstrated interest / knowledge in Land Use Planning is desirable.
