Customer Service Officer (Lifeguard)

Multiple Casual Positions

$35.42 per hour inclusive of 25% casual loading (junior rates apply if under 21) plus 9.5% statutory superannuation (if applicable)

We are currently seeking enthusiastic lifeguards to supplement our existing workforce over the coming 2019-20 summer season. These positions are located in Sale, Heyfield, Maffra, Rosedale, Stratford and Yarram at the outdoor pool venues. Summer season pools operate from November 2019 until March 2020 with some training provided at Aqua Energy prior to the opening of the summer season. Leisure Services – Customer Service Officers may be rostered to undertake one of, or a combination of responsibilities including; lifeguard and cafe/kiosk operator.

All lifeguards are required to obtain and maintain; Pool Lifeguard Certificate, Level 2 First Aid, Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation and a Working with Children Check (if over 18 years of age).

Please note; you can still apply if you do not have all the above stated qualifications, however you will be required to obtain them (at your own cost) before being rostered shifts.

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate how they meet the criteria below:

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work as an effective team member in a team environment.
  • Strong customer focus.
  • Proven reliability with a strong work ethic.
