Are you looking for a way to kick start your career in the Social Services industry?
Wellington Shire Council are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic individual to undertake a full-time, twelve-month traineeship within our Community and Wellbeing Unit, assisting the Youth Liaison Coordinator with the day to day management and planning of youth engagement across the Shire.
This is a great opportunity for you to be involved in a variety of exciting tasks, such as customer service, maintaining social media pages, data collection, general office administration, and everything else in between. In addition, your on-the-job experience will be enhanced by the completion of a Certificate IV in Community Services.
The successful candidate must be available to work after hours when necessary to support different events, have a current drivers licence and a Working With Children Check.

- Knowledge of issues affecting young people across Wellington region.

- Good computer and social media skills.
- Ability to contribute and work as a team member.
